1. The service

Stranger Chat is a free, anonymous service that randomly connects users for text chat and optional video chat. It is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. Users under 18 should not use video chat and must not share personal information. By using the service you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Stranger Chat to:

• Post, transmit or display nudity, explicit sexual content, or solicit sexual activity.
• Harass, bully, threaten, or promote hatred or discrimination against anyone.
• Impersonate another person or organization.
• Send spam, phishing links, scams, or unsolicited advertising.
• Collect information about other users for misuse.
• Break, tamper with, or attack the service, its servers or its network.
• Engage in any activity that is illegal where you live or where the service operates.

4. Your responsibility

You are responsible for everything you share in a chat. Never share personal, financial or sensitive information with strangers. Interactions are between you and the other user; Stranger Chat merely provides the connection.

5. Moderation

We may remove content and permanently block or ban users who violate these terms. We may stop serving anyone at any time, with or without notice, to protect the community.

6. No warranty / limitation of liability

The service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stranger Chat and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including from conversations with other users. You use the service at your own risk.

7. Intellectual property

The Stranger Chat name, logo and website design belong to their owners. The underlying source code is open source and governed by its own license.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
